Leo Farrelly
His advice and insight is based on a long career working in a variety of industries. As an engineering officer in the Navy he gained experience in electrical, weapons and communications systems and he developed a continuing interest in maintenance and logistics engineering and in project management. After leaving the Navy he worked for a number of years on the new Australian Parliament House project before joining Siemens for nine years developing major proposals for long-range radio communication networks, air traffic control and air defence systems. During this time he gained valuable insight and experience into the complexity and challenges that such projects pose to both the customer and the vendor organisations. His next appointment was with a specialist ICT company in Canberra engaged in communications systems engineering and the R&D of small UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles). As Head of the Programme and Project Management practice, and manager of the Project Management Services business unit, Leo led the development of the programme and project management consultancy and training business unit. Leo presents PRINCE2®, MSP® and P3O® training programs – Foundation Certificate, Practitioner Certificate and Executive Overview – throughout the Asia-Pacific region and consistently achieves outstanding evaluations. |
