Q: How and when do I gain access to the virtual training session?
A: For ALC's public scheduled courses, Zoom access details including Meeting ID and Passcode are provided 2 weeks prior to the course start date once the course is officially confirmed. This information is emailed to the address provided at time of course registration.
Q: What will I need to participate in the virtual training course?
A: For the best experience we recommend you download the Zoom application on a Laptop or PC (you can also join via a web browser if you are unable to download the app - however it is limited in it's functionality compared with the app version). You will need a webcam, speakers and a microphone or a headset. A good internet connection is also required - minimum bandwidth of 2Mbps download & 1Mbps upload<.
Q: How do I get help during the session?
A: If you are having any technical difficulties or need other assistance during the course, please call ALC as soon as possible so that we can assist. The number to reach us on is: 1300 767 592.
Q: Is the course recorded or pre-recorded?
A: No, ALC's courses are delivered live and in real time. Just like in a face-to-face course, if you are not in the room, you will not hear or see the trainers delivery. During ALC's Live Virtual Training Course you will see the trainer and have the ability to ask the trainer questions live, during the session. You will also be able to see all other participants on the course, and have the ability to speak with and/or network with them as well. For privacy, we do not allow recording of the sessions.
