For three decades, since March 1994, ALC Training has been at the forefront of delivering industry-leading certification training and setting benchmarks in customer service excellence. As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we reflect on the journey that has brought us to this milestone and look forward to the exciting opportunities ahead.
Pioneering Project Management and IT Service Management
Since the very beginning ALC has been dedicated to providing top-tier project management training. In 1999, we introduced PRINCE2® certification courses to our portfolio, becoming a pioneer in delivering this globally recognised project management methodology. Additionally, we are the longest-serving provider of ITIL® training in the Asia-Pacific region, having launched ITIL in Singapore and Malaysia in 1998 and in Australia the year after.
Trailblazing in Technology Education
In 2007, ALC made history by holding the world’s first SABSA® Foundation Certificate course in Sydney, showcasing our commitment to staying at the forefront of emerging technologies and methodologies. In 2015, we further solidified our reputation for innovation by offering the first DevOps certificate training in the Asia-Pacific region, empowering professionals with the skills needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
Driving Internet Understanding and Adoption
ALC has played a pivotal role in driving internet understanding and adoption in Australia. In the 1990s, we organised pioneering seminars such as “Connecting to the Internet” in 1994 and “Ecommerce Strategies” in 1998, laying the groundwork for the digital transformation that would follow in the decades to come. These initiatives underscore our commitment to not only providing training but also fostering a deeper understanding of emerging technologies and their implications.
Achieving Elite Plus Partner Status with ISACA
In 2024, ALC Training reached another significant milestone by becoming the first Accredited Training Organisation to obtain ISACA Elite Plus partner status in Australia. This prestigious recognition reflects our unwavering dedication to maintaining the highest standards of quality and expertise in the field of cybersecurity and governance.
