AgilePM v3 is here! The AgilePM framework has recently been updated to version 3
ALC offers an outstanding Agile training program covering the full scope of AgilePM, the world’s leading Agile project management framework & certification.
Developed by the Agile Business Consortium (formerly the DSDM Consortium) in association with APMG, this certification is aimed at anyone in a project environment who is looking for a leaner, structured approach that enables faster response to change and that is conducive to rapid implementation of high-priority initiatives.
Course Summary
AgilePM training and certification is underpinned by the AgilePM Reference Book which details the AgilePM framework. Developed by the Agile Business Consortium, the framework offers a practical and repeatable methodology that achieves an ideal balance between the standards, rigour and visibility required for good project management, and the fast-pace, change and empowerment provided by Agile.
Agile methods have revolutionised projects by emphasising flexibility, collaboration, and customer centricity. Agile practices advocate for iterative progress, frequent reassessments, and the ability to pivot swiftly in response to changing circumstances. In today’s environment, it is crucial for project professionals to understand the benefits of an agile approach to project planning and delivering.
AgilePM Foundation introduces the DSDM Agile Project Management framework, a pragmatic and repeatable methodology. This course explains how to prepare for and run an agile project, highlighting documentation, techniques, roles and responsibilities recommended within the framework.
AgilePM Practitioner certification is for those who have passed the Foundation exam, it’s objective is to transition learners from understanding the framework to applying it effectively. It is designed for professionals in project focused environments who want to be agile.
In partnership with KNOLSKAPE, a global leader in experiential learning, AgilePM v3 introduces a 90 minute online interactive group simulation at Practitioner Level . The AgilePM Simulation Experience is designed to bridge the gap between theory and practice, offering a hands-on approach to mastering agile methodologies.

There are two exams included with the AgilePM course. Both exams are based on the new Handbook and are set and marked by APMG:
Foundation Exam
The Foundation exam is held at the end of the Foundation module and comprises:
Live Virtual Courses: AgilePM Foundation exam will be conducted online in class
Face-to-Face courses: AgilePM Foundation exam will be a paper-based exam in class
Practitioner Exam
The Practitioner exam is conducted after the course via APMG’s Proctor U web proctored exam system and comprises:

AgilePM Practitioner certification is valid for 5 years. To maintain the certification, candidates will need to complete and pass the relevant Re-Registration exam.

The Agile Business Consortium is introducing a new offer to successful candidates of the Consortium suite of certifications.
The current offer enables candidates to claim additional recognition from the Consortium, in the form of Business Agility Professional Level 1 – Explorer status and accompanying digital badge.
As the professional body for business agility, the Consortium is committed to supporting learners beyond the classroom. To help candidates continue developing their skills, they are now offering 30% off membership for individuals who pass their exams. The new offer will apply from 1 August 2025.
